FUNDING AND GIVING

Year One (Sept 2018 – Aug 2019) Establishing the Community
We have, to date, received start-up monies from RM as well as donations from a Christian business and an RM church. This money has enabled us to meaningfully establish those of us within RM (who are currently pioneering into Post Communist Nations) into a functioning community. It has also enabled us to establish the LHC as a legal and branded entity. This has been achieved through:

  • part funding the LHC weekend in Nis, Serbia – March 2019;
  • the facilitating of regular meeting points between pioneering planters – bi monthly;
  • the organisation of the Post Communist Nations Day – July 2020;
  • raising awareness of the LHC at TOAM, Nis – May 2019;
  • raising awareness of the LHC at Pioneer, Nis – Malaga 2019;
  • the creation of website and media resources

Year one Summary
As a board of directors, our key deliverables for year one have been:

  1. Establish the LHC as a legal entity
  2. Build the leadership team – particularly a media team
  3. Gather and develop the Light House Community
  4. Develop the strategy to deliver the aims of the project
  5. Raise awareness and funding

These aims for Year one have been realised / are planned to be realised by August 2019.

Year Two (Sept 2019 – Aug 2020) Recruiting, Funding and Training Pioneering Leaders
In July 2019, we will meet as a board of directors in order to finalise an agree the key deliverables for 2019-2020. However, our broad aims and funding needs for this next year include:

  • creating gathering points in the year to draw together those with a clear and specific call to pioneer work into Post Communist Nations in Europe;
  • developing teaching materials for our LHC two year support programme;
  • establishing the team of pastors and teachers who will provide encouragement, support and pastoral care to both existing and new pioneering contexts with whom we are working;
  • developing leadership within the LHC and broadening our collaboration with RM churches;
  • LHC weekend in Smiltene, Latvia – March 2020

The LHC is a non-profit foundation, establish in Poland and is entirely dependent upon the generosity of those with whom we partner. Year One key deliverables have been realised entirely through this partnership. On behalf of all those within the LHC, I would like to thank you for your willingness to partner with us in order to help us see kingdom advance in Year Two.
