Rejoicing in Hope… Constant in Prayer

Some things have changed in Uzhgorod recently because we have been praying.

God spoke to me about adding a Wednesday night service with a sermon into our Church life. God spoke to me about making this change during a personal time of prayer and the effect upon the church has been wonderful. As the Word of God has grown in us, so revelation and understanding too and this has had a very positive influence upon the atmosphere of our Sunday services.  Our Sundays have become far more lively and sermons have become deeper yet easier to preach!

We have also introduced morning prayer to the church. This takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30 am to 8:30 am.  Of course, only a few people come, but nevertheless we have experienced spiritual breakthrough as a direct result of praying together. We have seen several new people join the church and some who were once with us, have now returned. All this in just two months since beginning our morning prayer meetings. Now we are planning to baptize 5 people!

God’s response to our praying together gives us hope that we are doing the right things.

Glory to our God for everything!

People are hungry for connection with God and each other. Well done, Edik, for following God’s leading.
