Lighthouse Community

€10,000 is what it takes to provide wood or gas for 91 households for the duration of the 2021-2022 winter period.

As a community, we are pulling together to support families and households who – due to the effects of the recent rise in fuel prices and the ongoing effect of the pandemic – need our support.

€10,000 will support 45 households in Ukraine, 30 households in Serbia, 10 households in Latvia, 4 households in Bosnia i Herzegovina and 2 households in Moldova. It will purchase much-needed wood or gas for families who are unable to provide for themselves this winter.

All money will be distributed locally by trusted friends: David and Ilze (Latvia), Edik and Liana (Ukraine), Vlada and Sonja (Serbia), Bernard (Bosnia i Herzegovina) and Thomas and Nadine (Moldova).

Lk 3:10-11 And the crowds asked, “What then shall we do?” And he (John the Baptist) answered them, “Whoever has two tunics is to share with him who has none, and whoever has food is to do likewise.”
